How to clear cache and cookies?

What are Cookies and Cache?

  • Cookies: Small files saved by websites to store your preferences and login info.

  • Cache: Stores images and parts of websites so they load faster next time.

Clearing them can fix loading issues or errors.


Google Chrome

Mac / Windows

  1. Open Chrome → More (3 dots) → More Tools → Clear browsing data.

  2. Choose a time range (select All time to delete everything).

  3. Check Cookies and other site data + Cached images and files.

  4. Click Clear data.

Android

  1. Open Chrome app → More (3 dots) → Settings.

  2. Go to Privacy → Clear browsing data.

  3. Select time range → check Cookies and site data.

  4. Tap Clear data.

iOS

  1. Open Chrome app → More (3 dots) → Settings.

  2. Go to Privacy → Clear Browsing Data.

  3. Select Cookies, site data → Clear → Done.


Firefox

Mac / Windows

  1. Open Firefox → Menu (3 bars) → Settings.

  2. Go to Privacy & Security.

  3. Under Cookies and Site Data, click Clear Data.

  4. Select Cached Web Content → Clear.

Android

  1. Open Firefox → Menu (3 dots) → Settings.

  2. Tap Delete browsing data.

  3. Select Cached images and files → Delete.

iOS

  1. Open Firefox → Menu → Settings.

  2. Go to Privacy → Data Management.

  3. Enable Cache → Clear Private Data.


Safari

Mac / Windows

  1. Open Safari → Preferences.

  2. Go to Privacy → Manage Website Data.

  3. Select Remove All.

iOS

  1. Go to Settings → Safari → Advanced → Website Data.

  2. Tap Clear history and website data.
