Duelbits is required by its licence and service providers to restrict access from certain countries and territories. If you are seeing a region block message, this page explains why it happens, how it works, and what your options are.
🌍 Why Some Regions Are Restricted
Duelbits is owned and operated by Liquid Entertainment N.V., licensed and regulated by the Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA) under Licence Number OGL/2024/1507/0838. As a condition of this licence and applicable international regulations, Duelbits must block access from countries where online gambling is prohibited, where local frameworks require a separate licence that Duelbits does not hold, or where international sanctions apply.
These restrictions are legal requirements, they are not optional and Duelbits cannot make exceptions.
🚫 Restricted Countries and Territories
The following regions are fully restricted. Users in these locations cannot create an account or access Duelbits services:
Aruba, Australia, Belgium, Bonaire, Cuba, Curaçao (and all Dutch Caribbean territories), France, Iran, Italy, Myanmar, Netherlands, North Korea, Portugal, Saba, Singapore, Spain, Statia, St Martin, Sudan, Syria, United Kingdom, United States, and Yemen.
This also includes any regions currently subject to international sanctions, including Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk, as well as any other jurisdiction that the Central Government of Curaçao deems online gambling to be illegal.

🔀 Full Restriction vs Game-Level Restriction
There are two types of restriction you may encounter on Duelbits:
Full restriction (platform-level) means you cannot access Duelbits at all. If your IP address maps to one of the countries listed above, you will see a region block screen and will not be able to register, log in, deposit, play, or withdraw.
Game-level restriction means you can access Duelbits, but certain games may be unavailable in your region. This happens because individual game providers (such as NetEnt, Pragmatic Play, and others) enforce their own geographic restrictions on top of the platform-level rules. If a specific game is blocked for you but the rest of the site works normally, this is a provider-level restriction, not a Duelbits decision and not something Duelbits support can override.
📡 How Region Detection Works
Duelbits detects your location using your IP address. When you visit the site, your IP is checked against a database of known geographic ranges. If your IP maps to a restricted country, access is blocked automatically.
This detection happens in real time on every visit, it is not a one-time check at registration.

🚩 Appealing an Incorrect Region Flag
If you believe your region has been detected incorrectly, for example, you are in a permitted country but are being blocked, take the following steps:
Disconnect any VPN, proxy, or custom DNS service that may be masking your real IP address and try again.
If the issue persists, contact Duelbits support at [email protected].
Provide your username, your actual country of residence, and a brief description of the issue.
The support team will review your case and, if your location is confirmed as permitted, restore access.
Incorrect flags are almost always caused by VPN connections, corporate networks that route traffic through other countries, or mobile data networks that assign IP addresses from a different region.
❓ Common Questions
I was able to access Duelbits before but now I'm blocked. What changed? Duelbits periodically updates its restricted regions list as regulations change. If a new restriction has been added for your country, you will be blocked even if you previously had access. The current list is always reflected in the Terms of Service.
Can I use Duelbits while travelling through a restricted country? No. Region detection is based on your current IP address, not your country of residence. If you are physically in a restricted country, or connected through one, you will be blocked regardless of where your account was created.
Some games are blocked for me but the rest of the site works. Why? This is a game-level restriction set by the individual game provider, not by Duelbits. Different providers enforce different geographic rules for their titles, and Duelbits cannot override them.
What happens to my account if I become dormant? Per the Terms of Service (Section 10.2), an account that has had no activity for 12 consecutive months is classified as dormant. Duelbits will make reasonable efforts to notify you by email, but it is your responsibility to maintain activity or withdraw funds before the 12-month limit.
