Duelbits Self-Exclusion Policy - How It Works

How to self-exclude from Duelbits, what duration options are available, what happens to your account and bets, and how to get help with responsible gambling.

Written by green

Duelbits is committed to responsible gambling and provides tools to help you manage your activity. If you feel that gambling is no longer enjoyable or that you need a break, self-exclusion allows you to restrict access to your account for a set period or permanently.

🆘 Need Immediate Exclusion?

If you need to be excluded right away, contact Duelbits support through any of these channels:

  • Live Support: open the panel from the left-hand navigation bar for an instant connection

Tell the agent or state in your email that you want to self-exclude and your account will be placed into a cooling-off period immediately. You do not need to wait, explain, or justify your decision.

🔒 What Is Self-Exclusion?

Self-exclusion is a voluntary restriction you place on your own account. Once activated, you will not be able to log in, deposit, place bets, or participate in any promotions for the duration you choose. It is designed for players who want to take a break from gambling or stop entirely.

Duelbits may also apply a self-exclusion or other gambling restrictions where it believes doing so is necessary to protect a player.

📋 How to Activate Self-Exclusion

  1. Contact Duelbits support via Live Support or by emailing [email protected].

  2. Let the team know you would like to self-exclude.

  3. Your account will be placed into a 24-hour cooling-off period immediately. During this time, you will not be able to access your account, deposit, or place bets.

  4. Before the cooling-off period ends, a member of the team will contact you by email to discuss the available duration options and answer any questions.

  5. Once you confirm your chosen duration, the self-exclusion is applied.

⏱️ Duration Options

The following self-exclusion periods are available:

  • 1 week

  • 1 month

  • 6 months

  • Permanent

Once a self-exclusion has been applied, the selected duration cannot be shortened, cancelled, or reversed. Choose the period that best reflects what you need — if you are unsure, the support team can help you decide during the cooling-off conversation.

What Gets Disabled Immediately

Once the self-exclusion is active:

  • You will not be able to log in to your account

  • Deposits are blocked

  • Betting and all wagering activity is disabled

  • Participation in promotions, bonuses, and leaderboard events is suspended

  • Any active rewards, bonuses, or promotional offers may be forfeited

These restrictions take effect as soon as the cooling-off period begins, you do not need to wait for the full exclusion to be confirmed.

💰 What Happens to Your Bets and Balance

Active bets: If you have open bets at the time your self-exclusion is applied, use the cash-out feature where available before requesting exclusion. If a bet cannot be cashed out, it will remain active and be settled according to the final result. Winnings from settled bets will be credited to your account balance.

Account balance: Any remaining balance will be handled in accordance with Duelbits' security, verification, and regulatory requirements. If you wish to withdraw your balance before the exclusion takes effect, discuss this with the support team during the cooling-off period.

🔄 After Self-Exclusion Ends

When a fixed-term self-exclusion (1 week, 1 month, or 6 months) reaches its end date, your account is not automatically reactivated. To regain access:

  1. Contact Duelbits support after the exclusion period has ended.

  2. The team may carry out additional reviews before restoring access.

  3. Once approved, your account will be reopened.

Accounts subject to a permanent self-exclusion will remain closed indefinitely and cannot be reopened.

⚠️ Your Responsibilities During Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is a two-way commitment. While Duelbits takes reasonable steps to enforce the restriction, you are also expected to:

  • Not attempt to access your excluded account

  • Not attempt to deposit, bet, or participate in promotions

  • Not attempt to open a new account on Duelbits

If a new account is identified as belonging to a self-excluded player, it may be restricted or closed without notice. Duelbits cannot be held responsible for losses incurred where a player attempts to circumvent or breach a self-exclusion.
