Can I Have Multiple Accounts on Duelbits?

Duelbits allows one account per person only. What happens if duplicates are detected, what to do if you created two by mistake, and how multi-accounting is identified.

Written by green

No. Duelbits enforces a strict one account per person policy. Creating, maintaining, or using more than one account is a violation of the Terms of Service and can result in all accounts being closed and all funds being forfeited.

🚫 The One Account Rule

Per the Terms of Service (Section 4.1):

  • You are strictly limited to one (1) account

  • If you attempt to open more than one account, all accounts may be blocked or closed

  • All balances and winnings in duplicate accounts will be voided

This rule applies regardless of the reason for the second account, whether it was created intentionally, accidentally, or using different email addresses, devices, or payment methods. There are no exceptions.

Accounts also cannot be sold, traded, gifted, or transferred to another person (Section 4.2). Each account must belong to and be used by the individual who created it.

🔍 How Duelbits Detects Duplicate Accounts

Duelbits uses multiple methods to identify accounts that belong to the same person, including but not limited to:

  • IP address tracking: accounts accessed from the same IP address

  • Device fingerprinting: accounts used on the same device or browser

  • Payment method matching: accounts linked to the same crypto wallet, card, or payment method

  • Account behaviour patterns: similar betting patterns, deposit timing, or account activity

  • Identity verification: documents submitted during verification that match another account

Detection may happen at any time, at registration, during gameplay, at withdrawal, or during a routine compliance review. The fact that a duplicate account has existed for months or years without detection does not protect it from enforcement.

Consequences of Multi-Accounting

If duplicate accounts are detected, Duelbits may take any or all of the following actions:

  • All accounts blocked or closed: not just the duplicate, but every account linked to you

  • All balances voided: any funds in any of the accounts are forfeited

  • All winnings confiscated: including winnings from bets placed across any of the accounts

  • Bonus abuse enforcement: any promotional offers, bonuses, or rewards claimed across multiple accounts are forfeited and may trigger additional investigation under the promotion abuse policy (Section 8.3)

These consequences apply at Duelbits' discretion and are not negotiable.

🤷 What to Do If You Created Two Accounts by Mistake

If you accidentally created a second account, for example, you forgot you already had one and registered again with a different email, the safest course of action is to contact support immediately:

  1. Contact Live Support (left-hand navigation bar) or email [email protected].

  2. Explain that you have two accounts and that the duplicate was created by mistake.

  3. Provide the User IDs of both accounts (found in Profile → Settings → User Information).

  4. The support team will advise on next steps, which typically involves closing the duplicate and keeping one account active.

Coming forward voluntarily is always better than waiting for the duplicate to be detected. Proactively disclosing a duplicate shows good faith and gives the support team the opportunity to resolve it before enforcement actions are triggered.

Do not continue using both accounts, deposit into both, or claim bonuses on both while waiting for the issue to be resolved, this will make the situation worse.

🔒 Why This Rule Exists

The one-account policy exists for several reasons:

  • Bonus abuse prevention: multiple accounts can be used to claim welcome offers, promotional codes, and rewards more than once

  • AML compliance: anti-money laundering regulations require operators to maintain a clear, traceable link between one person and one account

  • Fair play: in multiplayer games like Dice Duels, multiple accounts could be used to manipulate outcomes

  • Responsible gambling: having a single account makes it easier for both the player and the platform to monitor gambling activity and identify potential problems

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I create a new account if I forgot my password?
No. Use the Forgot Password feature on the login page to recover access to your existing account. If that does not work, contact [email protected] for help. Do not create a new account.

Can I create a new account if I close my old one?
If your old account was voluntarily closed (not banned or self-excluded), contact support to reopen it rather than creating a new one. If your old account cannot be reopened, discuss the situation with support before registering again.

My family member wants to play too. Can they use Duelbits?
Each person may have their own account, but each account must genuinely belong to a different individual. Accounts must not be shared, and each person must use their own credentials, device, and payment methods. Accounts that appear to be controlled by the same person, even if registered under different names, may be flagged.

I was self-excluded and created a new account during the exclusion period. What happens?
Per the self-exclusion policy, any new account opened during a self-exclusion period will be closed at the earliest detection. All wagers, rewards, and promotional entries during the exclusion will be forfeited with no return of stakes or payment of winnings.

Can I merge two accounts into one?
Duelbits does not offer account merging. One account will need to be closed. Contact support to determine which account to keep.
