Crash is a Duelbits Original, a fast-paced, provably fair game where a multiplier rises from 1.00x and can crash at any moment. Your goal is to cash out before it does. The longer you wait, the higher the potential payout, but if the multiplier crashes before you cash out, you lose your bet.
Every round is provably fair and can be independently verified using cryptographic hash chains.
📈 How a Round Works
Each Crash round follows the same sequence:
Betting phase: a countdown gives all players a window to place their bets before the round begins. You can place your bet at any point during this phase.
Multiplier rises: once the round starts, the multiplier begins climbing from 1.00x. It increases continuously in real time (1.01x… 1.50x… 2.00x… 5.00x… and beyond).
Cash out or crash: at any point while the multiplier is rising, you can hit the cash-out button. Your payout is your bet multiplied by the value at the moment you cashed out. If the multiplier crashes before you cash out, your bet is lost.
The crash point is different every round and is determined by the provably fair system before the round begins, it cannot be changed once the countdown starts.
💰 Placing a Bet
To play Crash:
Navigate to Crash from the Originals section in the left-hand navigation bar.
Enter your bet amount during the betting phase.
Click Bet to confirm before the countdown ends.
Once the round starts, watch the multiplier and hit Cash Out when you are ready.
You can only place one bet per round. Your bet must be placed during the betting phase, once the multiplier starts rising, the betting window is closed.
🎯 Manual vs Auto Cash-Out
There are two ways to cash out in Crash:
Manual cash-out: you watch the multiplier in real time and click the cash-out button yourself when you want to take your payout. This gives you full control but relies on your timing and connection.
Auto cash-out: before the round starts, you set a target multiplier (e.g., 2.00x). If the round reaches that value, the system cashes you out automatically. If the round crashes before reaching your target, your bet is lost.
Auto cash-out is useful if you have a specific payout target in mind or want to avoid the risk of reacting too slowly on a manual cash-out. You can set it in the game interface alongside your bet amount.
📊 House Edge and RTP
Crash has an RTP of 95% (5% house edge). The house edge is built into the crash point calculation for every round, it is not deducted as a separate fee from your payout. This means that over time, the game returns 95% of all wagered funds to players collectively.
🔐 Provably Fair - How the Crash Point Is Determined
Every Crash round is provably fair. The crash point for each round is cryptographically determined before anyone places a bet, using a system that neither Duelbits nor the player can manipulate.
The system relies on three inputs:
Server seed: a random value generated by Duelbits. A hashed version is shown to players before the round, so it is locked in and cannot be changed after bets are placed.
Client seed: a value you control. You can change it at any time between rounds from the provably fair panel.
Nonce: a counter that increments with each bet, ensuring every round produces a unique result even if the seeds stay the same.
These three values are combined and processed through a SHA-256 hashing algorithm to produce the crash point for the round. Because the server seed is committed (hashed) before the round starts, and you contribute your own client seed, no single party controls the outcome.

⛓️ Hash Chain Verification
Crash uses a hash chain to link every round together cryptographically. Here is how it works:
Duelbits generates an initial server seed before a long series of rounds.
That seed is hashed using SHA-256 to produce the seed for the previous round, and the process repeats, creating a chain of hashes that stretches back from the final round to the first.
Because each round's seed is the hash of the next round's seed, the entire sequence is predetermined and cannot be altered once the chain is created.
After a chain concludes, the initial seed is published, and anyone can hash their way through the full sequence to verify that every crash point was legitimate.
This means Duelbits cannot selectively manipulate individual rounds, changing any single round's seed would break the chain, and the mismatch would be immediately detectable.
📜 Game History and Verifying Past Rounds
Every completed round is recorded in the game history panel, which is visible directly within the Crash interface. Each entry shows the crash point for that round.
To verify a past round:
Open the game history in the Crash interface.
Find the round you want to verify and note its server seed, client seed, and nonce.
Use the in-game verification tool, or take the values to any third-party SHA-256 hashing tool to recalculate the crash point independently.
If your recalculated crash point matches the one displayed, the round was fair.
You can also access your personal bet history from your profile to review your own Crash bets, payouts, and verification data.
📡 What Happens If You Disconnect
If you lose connection during a round:
Without auto cash-out set: your bet rides until the round crashes. If you did not cash out before disconnecting, your bet is lost when the crash occurs.
With auto cash-out set: the auto cash-out will still execute server-side at your target multiplier, regardless of your connection status. If the round reaches your target, you receive the payout.
This is why auto cash-out is recommended if you are on an unstable connection, it protects your bet even if you drop offline during a round.
